Judy Isaac, Ph.D., is a Jungian-oriented analytical psychologist. She earned her degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Her research focused on early relational trauma and how the experience of being an orphan impacts and informs individuation. Judy’s pre- and post-doctoral training were completed at Elmira Psychiatric Center. She subsequently joined the staff there as the center-wide psychologist providing clinical and diagnostic services for adults and children.

 

While at Elmira Psychiatric Center, Judy was trained in hypnosis and further achieved advanced training in clinical hypnosis through the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis. Judy’s public service career is now focused primarily on children and adolescents in a day treatment setting. Judy earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She graduated with honors from Wells College where she majored in Jungian Psychology and Religion.

 

A native of the Finger Lakes, Judy has maintained a private practice in the Ithaca area for 23 years.
